I love this picture of my maternal grandfather. It is in front of the neighbor's home on Forest Ave. in Middletown, Rhode Island.Doesn't he look like a model in a photo shoot. They dressed so much more formally in the 1930's.
Written on the back of the picture is the date 1937 but that may not be right based on the wheel wells and other details of the car. I have been trying to figure out kind of car this is but so far with little luck. Because Curtiss is standing so proudly in front of it, I imagine it is new but again this is only an assumption. Regardless, it is a really cool picture!
